A Decade of Community
DSHS Developmental Disabilities Administration is proud to announce Community Summit 2023. The Community Summit continues a long tradition of conferences that have focused on expanding access to supported employment, supported living, and assistive technology. Launched in 2013, the Community Summit was conceived of to continue the work of transforming systems and building inclusive communities where people can live the life they want for themselves. Standing on the shoulders of the work that has gone before, the Community Summit looks forward to another decade of hosting these vital conversations.

Community Summit Reunion Story Application
We are so excited to be back in person at the Community Summit this year and I bet you are too! To celebrate both the tenth anniversary of the Summit and our first year back in-person, we will be featuring a “Community Summit Reunion Story.” This story will include at least 2 people who have previously connected in-person at the Community Summit. We would like to feature you and a friend who may not have had the opportunity to see each other because of the pandemic and virtual Summit for the past 3 years. The story will be shared on Summit social media accounts and during the event. We will be working with you to capture and share your story, including taking and using photos and video. If you are planning to attend the Community Summit in-person this year, have a friend you haven’t seen in a long time, and want to be #summitfamous, please complete this very brief Community Summit Reunion Story application by February 24th and our team will get back to you by March 3rd.
2023 Community Summit Resource Fair
Join us for the 2023 Community Summit Resource Fair! Individuals and organizations interested in representing their services to conference attendees are welcome to apply! Priority is given to sponsoring partners and non-profit community-based organizations providing direct services, resources, and information to community members. A limited number of exhibitor tables will be available during the event on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Selected exhibitors will be able to add information to the event website for all attendees to access!
